Non-Profit Expands Reach and Continues to Surpass Member Expectations
When this non-profit membership organization first partnered with our team, Systems Process People (SPP), the goal was to modernize its operations and give time back to its volunteer board.
That first phase delivered significant results: membership grew by 25%, recurring administrative work was reduced by nearly 80%, and together we built a stronger digital and operational foundation.
But growth created new opportunities and new challenges.
Taking the Annual Conference to the Next Level
As the organization continued to gain momentum, its annual conference became a major focus for growth.
SPP worked alongside their team to restructure the conference registration and sponsorship systems, creating an experience that could support a larger event while remaining manageable for a volunteer-led organization.
We improved how attendees registered, how information flowed through their systems, and how sponsorship opportunities were structured and managed.
The goal was simple: make it easier for more people and organizations to participate without creating significantly more work behind the scenes.
The results followed.

Annual conference attendance doubled, and the organization expanded its exposure across industries and created more opportunities for sponsors and partners to engage with its growing professional community.
Today, the annual conference is a multi-day event featuring keynote speakers, concurrent educational sessions, networking, exhibits, professional development, awards, and sponsorship opportunities.
Growth Without Adding Complexity
The conference's growth reflects a larger transformation taking place within the organization. Since beginning its work with Systems Process People, the association says it has doubled both membership and revenue. But one of the most meaningful descriptions of the partnership isn't a number.
In the Board President's words:
"They continue to meet us where our skills are and help where our skills lack."
That philosophy has guided our work together.
The volunteer board members shouldn't need to become experts in HubSpot, automation, web technology, or event systems to grow their organization. Our role is to understand what their team does well, identify where systems or expertise are missing, and build solutions that make their work easier.
As they have grown, we've continued to evolve those systems alongside them.
Building for What's Next
What began as a website and process transformation has become an ongoing partnership focused on organizational capacity.
The non-profit organization now has systems supporting a larger membership base, increased revenue, a significantly larger annual conference, expanded sponsorship opportunities, and connections across a broader range of industries - all while continuing to minimize the administrative burden on its volunteer leadership.
They summed up the impact this way:
"SPP has helped double our non-profit professional association in both memberships and revenues… Our association is gaining traction and it never would have happened without the support and innovative thinking of SPP."
For Systems Process People, that's the goal: meet organizations where they are, fill the gaps where they need support, and build the systems that help them reach what's next.
